Sylvia Day (SNB) 1968

A request here, and one I am delighted to provide. On Simon Napier-Bell's own label, an unknown female artist with an extraordinarily high voice, and teriffic orchestral backing.

Sylvia Day sings:

Show a little love

You don't understand

Long Islands Virgins Gone - Bulldog Breed (Unreleased)

Here is a preview of the second side of this acetate, a track that initially I disliked, but with repeated play consider the more interesting and accomplished, musically.

Mp3 now removed. Contact me if interested.

Bulldog Breed: Unreleased acetate -Nightingale Lane

I have unearthed a 7 inch 2 sided acetate recorded at Eden Studios, 1969, credited to:

R.Harrison, R.Hunt, B.Jinks

Side 1 - Nightingale Lane
Side 2 - Long Island Virgins Gone

Clearly this is an unreleased recording by the band members who recorded on DERAM, and I can verify that R.Hunts family lived in Nightingale Lane (London) during the late 1960s.
If anyone can shed light on this or put me in contact with the band members to verify the recording I would be most grateful. I won't be putting a sound file for the time being, but might in the future. Needless to say, both tracks are absolutely stunning.

I have decided to provide a preview of Nightingale Lane, low quality mp3 fade in and fade out (half way through). The second side is in fact a more interesting 'psychedelic ballad which I might release if enough interest is shown, and I can obtain contacts to band members for the purpose of gaining permission to have both tracks pressd as a vinyl single.

Mp3 now removed. Contact me if interested.
